Finishing inpatient treatment is a great first step, but it is by no means the end of the recovery journey. In fact, the time immediately following inpatient treatment can be a treacherous time for people who are newly sober. At West Coast Rehab, we understand the challenges that many of our clients face after treatment, and we are committed to supporting them in navigating those challenges successfully. That’s why our Transitional Recovery Program is available to our clients: we are here to help make the transition from treatment back to “real life” as easy, simple and safe as possible.
What can I expect in the Transitional Recovery Program?
Like all of the treatment options at West Coast Rehab, the Transitional Recovery Program is individualized to fit each clients particular needs. The program may include some or all of the following:
- Continued outpatient treatment
- Sober living placement
- Continued sessions with your therapist(s)
- Career coaching
- Family therapy
- Referrals to outside clinicians
- 12 step meetings
- Support groups
- Referrals to community resources
The length of the Transitional Recovery Program is also determined on a case by case basis.
Why do I need the Transitional Recovery Program?
Support is an essential part of recovery, especially in early sobriety. The Transitional Recovery Program is designed to give you access to the support that you’ll need while transitioning from treatment back to every day life.
